Shannon Forslund

I grew up in Tacoma and attended Mount Tahoma High School where I lettered in soccer, basketball and track.  I played college soccer at the University of Montana and was named to the Big Sky Conference 1st team four straight years.  While at Montana, I earned a BA in Psychology.  I am now entering my fourth year as the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Seattle University.  Before arriving at Seattle University, I spent a year coaching at the University of Idaho and the University of Montana.  I enjoy coaching both at the collegiate and youth level.  Currently, I coach a U-14 and U-15 girl’s soccer team for the Crossfire club out of Redmond.  Up until last year, I spent 6 years playing for the Seattle Sounders women’s semi-professional soccer team.  In addition to coaching, I am pursuing my master’s degree at Seattle University in Sports Administration and Leadership.
