Seattle Mariners to Partner with WIAA for Spring Future Champions


The WIAA is partnering with the Seattle Mariners for the Spring Future Champions Program. 

The Future Champions Program was designed to give nonprofit youth organizations throughout the state of Washington a chance to experience a fun-filled day at a WIAA State Championship Event.

Sonics & Storm to Partner with WIAA for Winter Future Champions


The WIAA is partnering with the Seattle Sonics & Storm for the Winter Future Champions Program.

Student Essay Scholarship Topic Announced


The WIAA is proud to announce the Student Essay Scholarship.  Entries are due April 5, 2007, and scholarship prizes range from $200-$500.  This year's topic is "What Sportsmanship Means to Me!"  The contest finalists will also have their piece published in an upcoming Interscholastic issue!

Fall Future Champions Wrap-Up


Thank you to Bill Hatch Sports, NW Sports Photography, GamePlan Merchandise and the Seattle Seahawks for their support of the Fall Future Champions Program during the Gridiron Classic on Saturday, December 2.

The Bellevue Boys & Girls Club was chosen for the Gridiron Classic Future Champions program at the Tacoma Dome.  Saturday, December 2, 2006, was filled with fun, food, and entertainment for the 40 participants.  Blitz, from the Seattle Seahawks, stopped by to spend lunch with the kids and even helped to cheer them on during a halftime contest
