Tri-Cities Prep High School, an Independent Catholic High School, is currently recruiting for a Girls Volleyball Program head/head girls varsity volleyball coach for the 2018-2019 school year. As Girls Volleyball Program head, this person will also coordinate summer volleyball camps and all summer training activities in 2018. The volleyball season begins on August 20, 2018 and concludes on November 10, 2018.

The Girls Volleyball Program head varsity volleyball coach, reporting to the Athletic Director, will join an athletics program that includes 10 varsity teams, most of which have sub-varsity counterparts. The volleyball program generally includes three teams (Varsity, JV, and C-team). This program head/head varsity coach is directly responsible for the coaching of the varsity team as well as oversight and coordination of the entire program. Specific responsibilities include:
• Compliance with Tri-Cities Prep and our Mission, the EWAC Conference, and the WIAA policies and procedures;
• Supervision and instructions of Volleyball student-athletes during all team activities;
• Maintenance and inventory of the Volleyball Program equipment and apparel;
• Development of all Volleyball practices and summer competition schedules;
• Recommended hiring and evaluating all assistant and sub-varsity coaches;
• Management and supervision of the coaching staff;
• Management of the Volleyball summer Team and Youth camps and activities;
• Development of a long-term vision for the Volleyball Program;
• Support of multi-sport participation for student-athletes;
• Consistent attendance at Jaguar Booster Club meetings and events;
• Attendance at meetings with the Athletic Director both in and out-of-season;
• Commitment to being a presence on campus out of season; and
• Promotion of balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes.

Requirements and Qualifications
We are an Independent Catholic High School dedicated to providing the highest quality academic instruction in a faith-centered environment. In keeping with our Mission Statement, Tri-Cities Prep seeks to graduate students prepared for leadership and service. Qualified applicants must adhere to our Mission first and foremost.
Successful candidates must be 21 years of age, possess a valid Washington State driver’s license, and be available for all practices and competitions from 4:00 pm during the week with additional availability on Saturdays. Experience coaching Volleyball at the club, high school, or college level is required. References should address the candidate’s ability to successfully instruct a wide range of student-athletes, work collaboratively with all constituencies related to an athletics program, and develop a Volleyball Program. Additionally, candidates must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and must possess, or obtain prior to their season, First Aid and CPR certifications.

Compensation and Benefits
Coaching stipends are paid in monthly installments during the primary competition season. Other benefits include annual professional development opportunities.

Tri-Cities Prep High School opened in 1998, and currently enrolls 168 students in grades 9 through 12 from diverse ethnic, racial, religious, and economic backgrounds.
