Position: Head Volleyball Coach
Location Risdon Middle School (Renton)
Description All Renton School District Coaches must hold a valid first aid/CPR/AED card. Certification must be obtained from a "hands-on" class (rather than online) in order to comply with the Renton School District policies and procedures.

Stipend Pay - $1,000.00 - 1,200.00 dependant upon years of experience

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL COACH- MIDDLE SCHOOL

Renton School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Girls’ Volleyball Coach at Risdon Middle School.

This position is open to all individuals, including current employees. This opening is for coaching only and does not include a teaching position.

This is a Coach Only position. A stipend of $1000.00- $1200.00 will be paid based on the indiivdual's years of coaching experience in the Renton School Disitrict.

The Middle School volleyball season runs from 1/16/2018- 3/22/2018. Practices will be held from approximately 2:40- 4:00 every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Once the travel team is selected, games will occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bus transporation will be provided by the district to and from all away games. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Hold a valid first aid/CPR/AED card. Certification must be obtained from a “hands-on” class (rather than online) in order to comply with Renton School District policies and procedures.
2. Minimum 21 years of age for head coach and 19 years of age for assistant coach.
3. Demonstrated working knowledge of the above-mentioned sport.
4. Coaching experience preferred.
5. Demonstrated interest in and ability to work well with multicultural middle school students, staff and community.

EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION

Applicants selected for hire will be required to provide a social security card for payroll purposes prior to beginning employment.

Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed before employment commences. Successful Washington State Patrol check and FBI fingerprint report, in accordance with state law, is required for continued employment.
