Did you know that even the slightest bit of dehydration can significantly effect your performance?
Drinking at least half of your body weight in ounces per day, will keep you hydrated.
160 lb athlete = 80 ounces water per day
1 gulp at the drinking fountain = 1 ounce
Water, broth-based soups, watery fruits and veggies can all contribute to the total.
