Baseball Regionals This Weekend, State Golf Championships Next Week

RENTON, WA (Wednesday, May 19, 2010) – The 2010 WIAA/Dairy Farmers of Washington/Les Schwab Tires Baseball Regional Championships will be on Saturday, May 22, and the 2010 WIAA/Dairy Farmers of Washington/Les Schwab Tires State Golf Championships will be held on Tuesday, May 25 and Wednesday, May 26.

The baseball regional championships will be held at 22 different venues across the state. Baseball tournament brackets can be accessed by visiting www.wiaa.com and clicking on ‘Tournaments’ and then ‘Brackets.’ Check the Web site for tournament information, driving directions, ticket prices and results.

Sites for the state golf championships include Yakima, Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco. Individual tee times can be accessed on Friday, May 21 after 4 p.m. by visiting www.wiaa.com and clicking on ‘Athletics & Activities,’ then “Spring Sports’ and then ‘Golf,’ and selecting ‘Day 1 Tee Times’ on the left hand column. Admission to the state golf championships is free.
