Lisa Raschkow Johnson was a multi-sport standout at Auburn High School, excelling in basketball, softball, and soccer. In 1982, she helped lead her softball team to a state championship and her soccer team to a third-place finish at state. Yet it was on the basketball court where Lisa truly left her mark. A three-year starter at point guard, she was a key player on Auburn’s undefeated 1982-83 state championship team, finishing her high school career with 550 career assists—246 more than any other player in school history. She was also named a Converse All-American in 1983.

Lisa continued her basketball career at the University of Washington, where she was a four-year varsity letter winner and served as team captain in 1986 and 1987. She was the recipient of the Pac-10 Medal of Honor in 1987 and left UW as the school’s record-holder in career assists, a mark that stood for 15 years.

A math major with a 3.4 GPA, Lisa combined athletic excellence with academic achievement. After a successful 15-year career in the software industry, she now resides in Bremerton with her husband, Mark, and their two children, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, leadership, and dedication on and off the court.
