Spring ahead this season by creating new ways to sneak in veggies and fruits! The additional nutrients will help you recover faster from practice and games, and help your body stay lean and mean. A simple way to boost these colorful, nutrition packed foods is by making the WINForum Power Up Green Smoothie (recipe below). If the green color leaves you less than “springy", blindfold yourself and try it!

WINForum Power Up Green Smoothie
2 cups spinach (2 big handfuls)
1 cup frozen fruit (1 big handful) we like mango)
1/2 banana
1/2 cup baby carrots
1/2 cup coconut water (or 3/4 cup if not using juice)
1/4 cup mango or orange juice
Blend until smooth
