Dear Athletic Directors,
PlayON! Sports has partnered with the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association to create the WIAA Network. The
Network includes the production and distribution of Washington high school championships and special events.
Another benefit of PlayON!'s partnership with the WIAA is that they offer an exclusive program and technology platform for
schools in the WIAA to produce their own content for the Network. The WIAA video portal
(
http://www.wiaanetwork.com/) gives schools the opportunity to produce TV-like events for broadcast over the
Internet, either for Live or archived (On Demand) viewing. These events include sports, graduation, newscasts, or
any other special event at your school.
PlayON! has currently rolled this program out in 15 states over the last 24 months and already more than 300 schools
are benefiting from the platform. Last year schools in total produced over 9,000 events. The three primary
benefits of your school joining the Network include:
Education – Your students will learn real-life job skills in video production and our program can be
integrated into an existing technology or media class or can exist as a standalone activity for interested
students.
Community – Your school can now showcase any activity from sports to graduation to daily newscasts.
Your alumni, community and relatives now have an easy way to stay connected with your school and watch
events on your own school-branded web site.
Revenue – Your school has the opportunity to make this a positive revenue generating program through
advertising and/or DVD sales. Your school can place banner ads on your web portal or in-event ads during
your broadcasts.
