    GAME 4
Bellevue Runs Away From Skyline, 45-7

    BOX SCORE

The fourth and final game of the 2013 Emerald City Kickoff Classic presented by Farmers Insurance featured the highly anticipated match-up between two-time defending 4A champion Skyline and five-time defending 3A champion Bellevue.  Wolverines running back Budda Baker ran it in from 12 yards out for the first score of the game with 5:34 to play in the first quarter, and Bellevue never looked back.

By halftime, Bellevue had built its lead to 35-0 over the Spartans, which included four rushing touchdowns and one 66-yard touchdown pass from Wolverine quarterback Timmy Haehl to Marek Spooner-Leduff.  Bellevue had 287 yards of total offense in the first half, while Skyline was held to 71.

The Wolverines carried their momentum into the second half, tacking on a field goal and another touchdown before Skyline got on the board with a 45-yard touchdown run by Kilton Anderson that made it 45-7 Bellevue.  With the running clock in effect, the fourth quarter quickly came to an end without any more scoring.

Bellevue continues their quest for a sixth straight 3A championship with a week two match-up at home against the Bothell Cougars on Saturday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m.  Skyline looks to bounce back in an away game against the Coeur d'Alene Vikings, also at 7:00 p.m. on September 13th.
