    Winter Coalition

The WIAA Winter Coalition is an annual meeting of the members of the WIAA Representative Assembly, league presidents, district directors, executive board members and staff.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss amendments that have been proposed by the WIAA member schools and executive board, and in some cases to modify the proposed amendments.

An amendment is a proposed change to the current rules and regulations.  The WIAA Representative Assembly members return in April for their annual meeting to vote on the proposed amendments.  Amendments receiving 60% favorable votes of approval go into effect on August 1 of the following school year unless otherwise noted.

The WIAA's Winter Coalition will be on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Spirit of Washington Events Center in Renton and is open to the public.  The amendments will be distributed by Monday, February 1, 2010.

If you have any questions, please contact Cindy Adsit.
