
RENTON, Wash. – The WIAA will broadcast all six Gridiron Classic Football Championships on its new online portal beginning, Friday, Dec. 2nd and concluding Saturday Dec. 3rd.
The 3A and 4A football games will be shown live on Root Sports, which means the webcast will be blacked-out to selected Washington residents on the online portal. Both contests will be archived and posted to the online portal for fans after the finals are complete. The games will also be shown on the Fox College Sports channel on a tapedelay. Brad Adam and Jason Stiles will have the call for Root Sports.
The remaining four games will be aired live at www.WIAANetwork.com. Legendary broadcaster Bob Robertson will be the play-by-play talent during the 1B championship on Friday and the 1A championship on Saturday. Carl Click will call the 2A, and 2B games for the WIAA Network. These contests will be archived on the WIAA Network site as well.
For fans attending the Gridiron Classic, the cost of entry for adults is $10 or $16 for a weekend pass. For students with a valid ASB card and senior citizens, the price of admission is $8 or $11 for the weekend pass..
