The WIAA Multimedia Policies apply to all activities in which multimedia credentials and rights are granted by the WIAA. The WIAA reserves the right to administer and amend these policies at its sole discretion at any time. Violation of the following multimedia policies may result in a loss of credentials. All approved media agree to and commit to following these multimedia policies. 

2026-27 POINTS OF EMPHASIS:

• Registered media must not coach in any capacity at a WIAA State event while representing an approved media outlet. Any evidence of coaching is prohibited and may result in credential revocation.
• Outlets can apply annually for media credentials during three seasonal application windows. Upon approval, the outlet is approved for the remainder of the school year.
