The WIAA has launched revamped multimedia policies, an encompassing document that clarifies a number of important media-related topics for WIAA State Championships. These multimedia policies apply to all activities in which multimedia credentials and rights are granted by the WIAA. The WIAA reserves the right to administer and amend these policies at its sole discretion at any time. Violation of the following multimedia policies may result in a loss of credentials. All approved media agree to and commit to following these multimedia policies. 

2025-26 POINTS OF EMPHASIS:

• Outlets must apply annually for media credentials during three seasonal application windows. Upon approval, the outlet is approved for the remainder of the school year.
• Rate cards for streaming, television, and radio rights are clarified.
• Credentialing qualifications for “Emerging Media” have been established
