This year’s Handbook includes several changes designed to make the document easier to navigate. The following is a summary of those changes and some additional notes:

• Passed Amendments now highlighted in blue with changes in bold
• Editorial changes made during the 2025-26 school year will be highlighted in yellow with changes in bold
• Board Policies now shaded in gray
• The Table of Contents is linked now linked to respective topics
• Q&As within the Handbook are linked to the specific questions which also include links back to the original Rules
• Certain Appendices have been removed and will eventually be posted separately on relevant sections of the WIAA website
• The Index is now linked linked to respective topics
• A ‘Definitions’ section has been added for all defined terms
• Table of Contents, Index and Definitions links have been added to the bottom of every page
• Appendices 10 & 10.1 – WIAA/WOA Co-Op Agreement & Officials Fees – will be added after the August 17, 2025 WIAA Executive Board Meeting
• Questions and answers regarding Eligibility Rules will be updated no later than August 25, 2025
